About Soda Pop
The animated Netflix film “KPOP DEMON HUNTERS” follows a successful K-pop girl group called HUNTR/X, who are actually demon hunters. “Soda Pop” marks the first appearance of the rival K-pop boy group “Saja Boys”. The band consists of five charismatic demons who want to stop HUNTR/X from wiping out the demon realm.
With “Soda Pop”, the boys pull fans straight into their spell and spark a real hype, reflected in countless dance challenges on TikTok and beyond. The lyrics are about an intense craving for another person, metaphorically described as “my little soda pop”. The Saja Boys sing that this craving is like an unquenchable thirst that grows with every sip.
The film quickly became a number 1 hit and turned into a real-world phenomenon: on social media, fans and K-pop idols like Le sserafim or ZB1 dance to “Soda Pop”, making the high-energy choreography and catchy melody go viral!
The singers who lend their voices to the animated boy group are Andrew Choi (Jinu), Samuil Lee (Romance), Kevin Woo (Mystery), Neckwav (Abby) & Danny Chung (Baby).
