About Dynamite
The lyrics describe a perfect day and a life as sweet as honey. The BTS members are so happy that they glow like dynamite and light up the night! The colorful music video picks up on the good mood: Jungkook, SUGA and the others wear bright outfits and dance happily through various sets such as a record store or a disco.
Right after its release, “Dynamite” debuted at No. 1 on the American Billboard Hot 100 chart. A huge milestone, as no other K-pop artist had achieved this before! The single stayed at the top for 3 weeks and spent a total of 32 weeks in the Top 100.
The success continues to this day: in January, BTS became the first K-pop group ever to reach two billion streams with “Dynamite”! So it is no exaggeration to say that the single has established itself as one of the most significant K-pop hits worldwide.
