BIOGRAPHY

Jake (제이크) was born on November 15, 2002 in Seoul, South Korea. He went to the Dwight School Seoul. At the age of eight he emigrated to Australia with his family and attended St. Peter's Lutheran College. Jake was a very good student and was among the best in his math class. He later took part in a casting of BE:LIFT Lab. He was a trainee for 9 months. On June 2, 2020, Jake was announced as a contestant on CJ ENM and Big Hit Entertainment's reality survival show I-LAND. On September 18, 2020, he came third in the global vote and became a member of the boy band ENHYPEN

He made his debut as a rapper and singer ENHYPEN on November 3 with the release of their first mini album “Border: Day One”. The group consists of seven members: Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon, and Ni-ki.

Enhypen won their first award in their debut year of 2020: The "Next Leader Award" at The Fact Music Awards.
They sold over a million copies of their first album “Dimension: Dilemma” in 2021. The album was awarded diamond status in Korea.
In 2022 they started their first world tour "Manifesto" with a total of 21 concerts.
They then released their fourth mini album "Dark Blood". On May 23, it reached #1 on the iTunes Album Top Charts in 30 countries.
