New start for FIFTY FIFTY: Keena and four new members present “LOVE TUNE”!

It's been almost a year since Saena, Aran and Sio left FIFTY FIFTY. In less than three weeks, the girl group returns with a new album! The group now consists of 5 members: Keena and four new faces. We introduce you to the new line-up and of course the upcoming album “LOVE TUNE”:
FIFTY FIFTY debütierte im November 2022 mit dem mini album “The Fifty” und erlebte einen rasanten Aufstieg in der K-Pop Szene. Ihre single “Cupid” aus dem Jahr 2023 wurde zu einem internationalen Hit, der besonders auf Plattformen wie TikTok viral ging. Durch den Erfolg dieses Songs erreichte die Gruppe schnell weltweite Bekanntheit und galt als einer der vielversprechendsten neuen Acts in der K-Pop Welt.
Trotz ihres kometenhaften Aufstiegs gerieten FIFTY FIFTY 2023 in einen plötzlichen Skandal, der ihre Karriere ins Wanken brachte. Es kam zu rechtlichen Auseinandersetzungen zwischen den Mitgliedern und ihrem Label ATTRAKT, aufgrund von Vorwürfen über unfaire Behandlung. Read more about it here!
In October 2023, ATTRAKT finally terminated the contracts with three of the four members: Saena, Aran and Sio. The fourth member Keena remained with the label and represented the group alone at the Billboard Music Awards. In November, ATTRAKT confirmed that FIFTY FIFTY would continue their activities with a new line-up, including Keena.
THESE ARE THE FIVE MEMBERS OF FIFTY FIFTY:
Nach mehreren Auditions in Singapur, Thailand, Japan und Südkorea gab ATTRAKT im Juni 2024 bekannt, dass FIFTY FIFTY im September mit vier neuen Mitgliedern zurückkehren wird.
Die neuen Mitglieder wurden im August vorgestellt: Chanelle, Yewon, Hana & Athena.
Chanelle und Yewon sind keine unbekannten Gesichter in der K-Pop Szene. Sie wurden in 2023 als Kandidaten der Survival Show “R U Next” von Belift Lab vorgestellt, in der the girl group “ILLIT” gegründet wurde. Die beiden wurden allerdings eliminiert und wechselten anschließend zu ATTRAKT.
Hana is best known as a contestant on the survival show “We Kid” in 2016. She even debuted solo in 2020 with the digital single “Secret Crush” and released a second solo single called “Ghost” in 2023.
Athena was an unknown trainee until recently. She is 17 years old and thus the Maknae, the youngest member of Fifty Fifty. Keena is still the oldest member. She was born in 2002 and is therefore 5 years older than Athena.
Keena is the only original member of FIFTY FIFTY in the new line-up.
The name of the girl group remains the same, but the fandom name has changed. The fans are now called “Twenty” instead of “Hunnies”.
FIFTY FIFTY - LOVE TUNE (THE 2ND MINI ALBUM)
Das zweite Mini Album “LOVE TUNE” erscheint am 20. September und ist das erste mit den neuen Mitgliedern! Fans hatten aber bereits die Gelegenheit das neue Line-Up zu bewundern. Two weeks ago, a special live clip was released on YouTube in dem die 5 Mitglieder Cover von Charlie Puths “We Don’t Talk Anymore” und leejeans “Secondary Option” singen. Außerdem präsentierte die Girlgroup vor drei Tagen die Pre-Release Single “Starry Night”.
The music video has already been viewed over 7 million times and shows that K-Pop fans are eagerly awaiting FIFTY FIFTY's return!
Starting today, you can pre-order two versions of LOVE TUNE in our store: “LOVE” and “TUNE”.
Both consist of a rectangular box in which you will find, for example, an 80-page photo book, a CD, an accordion lyric card and a folding poster. You can also look forward to one of 5 postcards and a sticker pack, which consists of a small PVC bag and 6 stickers. The highlight are of course the photo cards! Each album contains one of 5 possible group photo cards and 2 of 10 individual photo cards.
Of course, all the extras differ depending on the version. The postcards, photo cards and lyric cards and photo books contain different motifs and the CDs also have different colors.
The covers give a little insight into the images that await you. On the cover of the LOVE version, the members are smiling and holding a cake and colorful desserts in their hands. On the cover of the TUNE version, the members are standing in front of a carousel at night with serious expressions. Which cover do you like best at first glance?

Die drei ehemaligen FIFTY FIFTY Mitglieder haben Anfang August Verträge mit dem neuen Label “MASSIVE E&C” unterschrieben. MASSIVE E&C ist eine Abteilung von “IOK Company”. IOK Company ist das Zuhause von der Girlgroup Alice und ein paar Solokünstlern, darunter B.I (ehemals IKON).
Saena, Aran and Sio are to be active as a global girl group in the future. So it certainly won't be long before the three singers also bring new music to the market.
