Jihyo is ready for her solo debut: ZONE will be released in August!

After 10 years as a trainee, Park Jihyo finally debuted as a K-pop idol in October 2015. She's been wowing us ever since as the leader and main vocal of the girl group Twice, which continues to enjoy worldwide popularity to this day. Almost eight years after the debut, Jihyo is now about to take the stage solo. Her first mini album is called ZONE and will be released on August 18!

Rumors have been circulating since early June that Twice Main Vocal will debut solo in August. These rumors were confirmed before the end of the month and since then fans have been eagerly waiting for more details. Today the singer revealed three versions of her first mini album ZONE on Twitter, which you can pre-order starting today:

We've had to wait a long time for Jihyo's first album, but in return the three versions - Z, Y and 0 - have a lot to offer! Each version consists of a photo book with cover, which contains among other things a CD.

But the extras are especially interesting, because they are very varied:

These include, among other things, two of twelve possible photo cards. After all, they can't be missing in any K-Pop album, right? But it doesn't remain only with these two cards, because each album contains additionally one of three message photo cards.

Furthermore, every buyer gets one of three bookmarks, a lyric sticker pack with 10 stickers, a folded poster and one of three so-called interview minibooks.

But that's not all:

If you order the album before August 18th, you will also get a photo film and optionally a poster!

Will you order one of the three versions or the whole set?

There are hardly any teasers yet, but we might have already got a little musical insight into Jihyo's album in April. Namely, during the READY TO BE World Tour, the singer performed a song she wrote herself called "Nightmare".

We're excited to hear if the song will be featured on ZONE!

TWICE goes solo!

Since Twice's debut in October 2015, the members have mainly been active together. Usually, it only takes a couple of years for members of idol groups to start their own projects. Fans of Twice, however, had to wait almost seven years for that to happen. On June 24, 2022, the first member finally made her solo debut: Nayeon, the eldest, released her first mini album IM NAYEON including the title song POP!

Since then, fans have been hoping for more solo projects, because that's where the members can show a whole new side of themselves once again. Fortunately, Twice soon made new plans:
On July 26, the first subunit MISAMO will debut, which consists of the three Japanese members Mina, Sana and Momo. In recent weeks, the unit has already presented two music videos: "Marshmallow" and a few days ago "Do not touch".
