xikers have released two mini albums so far, sold more than 400 thousand copies and successfully placed in the top 5 of the Korean Circle Charts! Now the first anniversary of the young boy group is just around the corner, but before that, the boys will present their third mini album: “HOUSE OF TRICKY : TRIAL AND ERROR”
The new album will be released on March 11, 20 days before the anniversary on March 30. You can pre-order two different versions starting today! As with the first two albums, the versions are once again called “Hiker” and “Tricky”.
Both consist of a box filled with lots of different extras!
Of course, the CD and the photobook come first. The photobook has no fewer than 120 pages with high-quality pictures of the nine members.
The smaller extras include a folded poster, a postcard, an envelope, a moving photo and a magnetic cap. You also get one of nine possible film strips and two of 18 photocards. We especially love these random extras, because there is always a little surprise waiting for us when we unpack our albums!
In addition, each version comes with an individual extra:
In the Tricky version you will find one of nine so-called “xikers piece”. It is exclusively included ONLY in the Tricky version, NOT in the Hiker version. In return, the Hiker ver. contains one of nine ID cards.
Which version interests you more? Or will you get the set? It's worth it, because all the contents, from the photobook to the photocards, are designed differently depending on the version. You are guaranteed not to get anything twice!
Besides the album details, there are not many teasers yet apart from a cover image. In addition to the title and release date, it shows the nine members of xikers. They are wearing loose jeans and colorful jackets and look confidently into the camera. They are obviously ready to take the stage by storm once again!
Unfortunately, Junghoon is not part of it this time either. He has been on a break since May 2023 to recover from surgery. That's why he was already missing from the second mini album in August. We continue to wish Junghoon a speedy recovery and hope that we can welcome him back soon.
The new album is already the third one with the title “House of Tricky”.
Since their debut, the boy group has stuck with the theme and has even released a web series called “TRICKY HOUSE”. Album series with the same title often follow the same concept and the music follows a certain style. Most “series” have three parts, so it is very likely that the new album will be the last of the “House of Tricky” series. We are curious what the next album will be called and whether we will be able to hear the change in the music.
But until then, we look forward to exploring the house of trickery with xikers once again!
