What songs did you listen to over the weekend?
“SNEAKERS” by Itzy was on repeat for me! At first I was a bit skeptical. We were probably all a little confused when, after the first, very elegant image teasers showing Ryujin, Lia, Yeji and co. in ball gowns and golden crowns, the brightly colored concept photos for the title track "SNEAKERS" suddenly started making the rounds. The members wear loose, colorful everyday clothes and, as the name suggests, sneakers. How does that fit together?
The music video showed how it works: The singers were seen in a castle wearing ball gowns with sneakers underneath! On top of that, they sing that they don't need any guidance and are finding their own way:
I was still skeptical and maybe a little disappointed, because after the royal concept photos I had expected a somewhat calmer and more graceful title track, but I ended up liking the song better than expected. And I can't get enough of the choreography; I could honestly watch it all day long!
The physical album, on the other hand, convinced me right away: The photobook contains the initial photos with the ball gowns and crowns. On top of that, there are pictures of Chaeryeong, Yuna and the others in chic black and white blouses, short skirts and glittering high heels! Have you already ordered “Checkmate”? What do you think of the comeback?

Chungha!
It's been a few days now since Chungha finally released her second studio album “Bare & Rare Pt.1”, but I'm still watching the music video for “Sparkling” several times every day!
I love the song, Chungha’s voice, her light-colored hair and the underwater setting. Actually, I think it's a bit of a shame that the pictures from the music video setting didn't make it into the photobook, but you can't have everything, right? What's your favorite Chungha song?
Oh, one more thing before I call it a day: Have you seen AleXa’s cover of Lady Gaga’s “Hold My Hand”? I've been eagerly waiting for a comeback ever since AleXa won the American Song Contest, but now I can wait for it even less! Well, at least there's now another song by her that we can listen to on repeat!
