TXT and Day6 announce comebacks in March and April!

TXT und Day6 kündigen Comebacks im März und April an!

What makes K-Pop so special is the amount of content released every day that distracts us from our everyday lives. Of course, we have all the different artists to thank for that, releasing new music throughout the year. For all K-Pop fans who just can't get enough, there are two exciting pieces of news: the boy groups TXT and Day6 are coming back with new songs soon!

Day6 release their first album in three years!

JYP Entertainment confirmed a few hours ago that Day6 are currently filming a music video and want to release a new album in March. The exact date hasn't been set yet, but it's certain that we won't have to wait much longer!

The upcoming album is something special, because it is the first since “The Book of Us: Negentropy”, which was released in April 2021. Since then, a few solo albums by the individual members and by the unit “Even of Day” have come out, but the group took a break.

The reason was military service, which is mandatory for all men in Korea. Sungjin began his service in March 2021, and the other members followed him one after the other. But now the band is finally complete again! Wonpil was the last to return from the military, in November 2023.

But there is something else that sets the new album apart from the previous ones: it is the first without Jae. The singer left the band in December 2021, so Day6 now consists of only four members: Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil and Dowoon. But no matter what has changed, the fans will definitely support the guys on their fresh start.

There are rumors that TXT will make a comeback in April!

The Korean news site “SPOTV news” reported in an article that the boy group TXT will release a new album in April. The rumors haven't been officially confirmed yet, but it surely won't take much longer. The last album “The Name Chapter: Freefall” came out in October 2023. That was already four months ago. By April it will be six months, so it would indeed be time for new music.

TXT have been topping the charts since their debut, but manage to outdo themselves again every year. In 2023, the boy group released two albums: “The Name Chapter: Freefall” and “The Name Chapter: Temptation”. Both sold more than two million copies and are TXT's best-selling albums ever!

In first place is “The Name Chapter: Temptation” with currently 3.2 million copies sold. Will the boy band break its personal record again in 2024? We might find out soon!

TXT and Day6 are just the latest names on the list of albums coming out in the next few months. In March, for example, there is also the first single album by NCT WISH and the third Japanese single album by ATEEZ.

Which comeback are you looking forward to the most?
