Twice’s fifth world tour “READY TO BE” began in April 2023 and is still going! As part of the tour, the girl group has already played over 40 concerts in 14 different countries. The tour ends in July with six more dates in Japan. So now is the perfect time to release a DVD looking back on the tour!
Twice announced today that a DVD and a Blu-ray of the tour will be released on July 31.
THESE EXTRAS ARE WAITING FOR YOU:
DVD:
The DVD mainly contains 3 DVDs. They include almost 4 hours of footage from the READY TO BE concert in Seoul! You also get a 144-page photo book with excerpts from the concert and unique close-ups of the members.
On top of that, you can add a photo ticket, a 3-piece film photo set and a 9-piece photocard set to your collection. It all comes in a rectangular case with a dark cover.
BLU-RAY:
The orange case of the Blu-ray is a bit smaller than the DVD box and the contents are very different too. It includes a 24-page photo book, a 3-piece mini poster set, a photo stand and a hologram photocard.
Of course, the 3 Blu-rays can’t be missing either. Like the DVD, they contain around 230 minutes of footage.
The DVD and BLU-RAY are the perfect memento of the fifth world tour!
The tour is named after the twelfth mini album “Ready To Be”:
It was released in March 2023, just one month before the start of the world tour. That month it topped the Korean Circle Chart, reached No. 2 on the US Billboard 200 chart and placed in the top 10 in many other countries such as Germany, Portugal and Croatia. In the first week alone, over 1 million copies of the album were sold. Twice also broke a personal record with “Ready To Be”: it was pre-ordered more than 1.7 million times, more than any other Twice album before.
That makes “Ready To Be” Twice’s best-selling album to date, closely followed by the 13th mini album “With You-th”, which was released in February 2024.
