K-Pop fans all over the world simply can't get enough of Stray Kids! The boy group keeps delighting their fans with their music and, above all, never keeps them waiting long for something new. And indeed, the guys are already hard at work on their next album. You can already look forward to a comeback in November!
It feels like it was only yesterday that the boy group released their full album “5-Star”, including the title track “S-Class”. Maybe that's also because Stray Kids is still celebrating successes with the album. For example, on September 12, just a week ago, the group won the award for “Best K-Pop Video” at the American MTV Video Music Awards with S-Class.
JYP Entertainment announced just a few hours ago that the boy group is already working on a new album, which will be released in November.
Apart from that, there are no exact dates yet. So unfortunately, you'll have to be patient for a little while longer. But don't worry, we'll let you know as soon as you can pre-order the album from us!
Stray Kids is without a doubt one of the most successful K-Pop groups in the whole world!
The boy group has achieved great success from the very beginning, but even today the guys are still breaking records and reaching new milestones. With their latest album 5-Star, they have once again outdone themselves: It was pre-ordered more than 5.13 million times, more than any other K-Pop album in history! With that, Stray Kids broke the record of Seventeen’s album FML with 4.64 million pre-orders, which was only set at the end of April 2023. Before that, BTS had long been at the top.
And it didn't stop there:
In the first week, fans bought over 4.6 million copies. That makes 5 Star currently also the K-Pop album with the highest first-week sales after release!
Of course, the album has also topped several charts: These include the Korean Circle Album Chart and the US Billboard 200 Chart. Stray Kids also managed to take the top spot in several European countries such as France, Hungary, Greece, Belgium or Portugal.
On the list of the best-selling K-Pop albums in history, 5 Star currently ranks second, just barely behind “FML” by Seventeen and directly above “Map of the Soul: 7” by BTS.
It certainly won't be easy to top these successes, but if anyone can do it, it's Stray Kids! We have no doubt that the boy group will continue to be rewarded for their hard work.
