Stray Kids comeback is coming closer: 5 Star will be released in June!

Already at the beginning of March JYP Entertainment confirmedthat Stray Kids have shot their new music video and will soon present a new album. We were hoping that the guys would announce more details in April and indeed, teasers for the new studio album "5 Star" have been appearing since yesterday!

5 Star is the third Korean studio album from the boy group, which has released no less than 21 albums since 2018: 2 single albums, 11 mini albums, a repackage, 4 compilation albums and three studio albums. Most recently, the first Japanese studio album "The Sound" was released on February 22, 2023.

The two Korean studio albums - Go Live (2020) and Noeasy (2021) - each contain 14 tracks, so we can expect Stray Kids to present 14 brand new songs with 5 Star as well!

Of course, we can look forward not only to new music, but also to new photo books, photo cards and other cool extras. 12 varied releases are waiting to be put under the microscope and that's exactly what we're going to do! We present them to you in detail:

STRAY KIDS - 5 STAR ★★★★★ (3RD FULL ALBUM)

First, let's take a look at the three standard versions: A, B and C. They consist of a photo book with 104 pages. That's about 20 pages more than in the last Stray Kids albums! The photo book includes a CD, of course, and also has some extras to offer: Two of 24 possible photo cards, one of eight OOTD mini posters, two sticker sheets and a cartoon postcard.

Want more? Then you should definitely order the album before its release on June 2. That's because there are two pre-order extras: a foldable poster and a 16-page B-CUT Film Mini Photo Book! There are three different mini photo books. Which one you get is random.

As is often the case, Stray Kids has also prepared a Limited version. This one is actually very similar in style to the standard versions: Buyers get a 104-page photo book, a CD, two of 24 photo cards, one of eight OOTD mini posters, two sticker sheets and a cartoon postcard.

And again, everyone who pre-orders the album will also get a foldable poster and one of three B-Cut Film Mini photo books (16 pages).

But that's not all! The limited version also includes two exclusive extras: one of eight possible special folding posters and a B-Cut Film postcard!

STRAY KIDS - 5 STAR (★★★★★) DIGIPACK (3RD FULL ALBUM)

In addition to the three standard versions and the Limited Version, there are also eight digipacks, one of each Stray Kids member. Perfect for those who would like a little more of their bias! You get to pick the version, so nothing is left to chance!

Each digipack consists of a nearly square paper sleeve containing a CD, a 24-page photo book and a lyric poster. In addition, there is a mini folding poster, which was personally decorated by Stray Kids and of course a photo card may not be missing. Each album contains one of eight possible photo cards. Those who order the album before June 5 will get an additional photo card, also one of eight possible.

The cover, as well as the CD and the photo book are designed differently in all versions. So buyers of the Felix version will get a Felix cover, a Felix CD and a Felix photo book!

It's still over a month away until the album is released, but Stray Kids will surely fill the waiting time with various exciting teasers.
