The Korean DJ Shaun and the Malaysian singer Yuna, who both have well over a million monthly listeners on Spotify, are working together on a new single!
To give you a better idea of what you can look forward to, here's a quick introduction to the two of them:
Shaun
Kim Yunho has been active under his stage name “Shaun” since 2010 as a singer, songwriter, music producer and DJ.
The general public knows him mostly for his hit “Way Back Home”, which in 2018 even knocked hugely popular K-Pop groups like Twice, Black Pink and BTS off the top of the charts! Later, a global version was also released in collaboration with Sam Feldt and Conor Maynard, as the song was a huge success far beyond Korea.
In 2020, Shaun was among the “Top 10 Most Streamed Male K-Pop Artists Globally in Spotify 2020”, even though he was serving his military service at the time. He currently has 3,267,672 monthly listeners on the platform; over 100,000 more than back in October! “Way Back Home” is still his most popular song: it has now been streamed on Spotify over 240 million times!

The song reached number 3 on the US R&B Adult Billboard charts and had sold over 500,000 copies by 2019! On Spotify, “Crush” has now reached almost 84 million streams.
Thanks to her unique voice, she currently has 1,487,153 monthly listeners on Spotify, who are undoubtedly excited about her new project with Shaun!
