Yesterday, Seventeen's agency Pledis Entertainment announced a new album on Twitter and Instagram that is set to be released on October 10 and surprised the boy band's fans with it.

We dare say that nobody was expecting a new Seventeen album right now, after all the last one, “Your Choice”, was only a good three months ago. On top of that, the photobook `Social Club: Carat` is also set to be released on October 8, two days before the new album “Attacca”.
Attacca is a musical term for a mark indicating that the next section should follow without a pause. We can't say for certain yet whether this is the interpretation Seventeen wants to convey, but it definitely fits the current situation!
So, we don't want to keep you in suspense any longer and will explain exactly what to expect below:
9th Mini Album Attacca
As before, the new album will come in three versions: Op.1, Op.2 & Op.3.
All contents are designed individually for each version; both the 78-page photobook and the CD as well as all included extras.
The extras include a lyric case, one of 13 photo postcards, one of 13 folding cards and 2 of 26 photocards of the respective version. Exclusive to pre-orders, there is also one of 13 multi-layered cards and, optionally, one of four posters. If you would like to secure the exclusive card and a poster, you can pre-order the album right now!
In addition to the three photobook versions, there will also be a Kit version, which contains the Air Kit, a title and credit card, a postcard and 26 photocards. Of course, you can also find the Kit version in our shop!
Seventeen obviously has no plans to give us a break, but let's be honest, do we even want one?
