Most K-Pop fans will have heard of the survival show “Queendom” or “Kingdom” at some point. In it, well-known boy and girl groups compete against each other in a so-called comeback battle and crown a winner at the end.
If you missed the second season of the female version “Queendom”, there is still just enough time to get ready for the live finale on June 2 (Thursday)!
Since the end of March, Hyolyn (formerly of Sistar), Brave Girls, Viviz (formerly GFriend), WJSN, Loona and Kep1er have performed their own songs and covers of their competitors' songs over three rounds, and reminded us once again why we love every single one of them so much!

For the finale, all participants have released a new song, as in the previous seasons of Queendom and Kingdom, which they will perform live on June 2 in the fight for the crown!

In the first two rounds, Hyolyn took first place in the ranking, but last week the tide turned. Brave Girls, who had been continuously at the bottom until then, thrilled the audience with a remix of their song “Red Sun” and took the lead!
Everything is still open, because so many points are awarded in the finale that the rankings could change completely again. The points depend, among other things, on how often the new songs were streamed by fans in the last week.
On Thursday it will finally be decided which girl group, or in Hyolyn's case solo singer, gets crowned. The winners will succeed the winners of the previous seasons and win a big comeback show for their next comeback!
Personally, I watched the show mainly to follow Kep1er, Hyolyn and Brave Girls, and over time I became a fan of WJSN! Of the new songs, I like “Whistle” by Brave Girls the best, but everyone would have deserved the win!
