Two weeks ago the Loona subunit ODD EYE CIRCLE with a Image Teaser von JinSoul a new album announced. It's called “Version Up” and will be released on July 13th. Version Up is the first ODD EYE Circle album since “Max & Match” more than five and a half years ago!
It is also Loona's first project since the members left their previous agency, Blockberry Creative. The girl group most recently released the summer album “Flip That” in June 2022.
ODD EYE CIRCLE has announced three versions of Version Up, one for each of the members: Kim Lip, JinSoul and Choerry. Who is your bias? Or will you get all three versions to have something from each member?
Each version consists of a 66-page booklet, which includes a CD and a number of extras.
The cover as well as the booklet and the CD differ depending on the version. The same applies to two of the extras: a folded poster and one of six possible special objects. Judging by the preview images, we suspect that the special objects are photo cards.
In addition, each version contains one of three stickers, one of three transparent photo cards and one of three ID images. These three extras are the same in all versions, so it won't be too difficult for collectors to collect them all!
What kind of photos can we expect?
In the last two weeks, a Series of image teasers published that give us an insight into the photo books. In the photos, Kim Lip, JinSoul and Choerry are dressed all in black and white and wearing an eye patch.
ODD EYE CIRCLE is one of three Loona subunits.
She debuted in September 2017 with the mini album Mix & Match and released the repackage album Max & Match a month later. These are the only albums from the unit so far. The other two units Loona ⅓ and Loona yyxy were also founded in 2017. Like ODD EYE CIRCLE, Loona ⅓ only released two albums (Love & Live, Love & Evil), Loona yyxy only released one (Beauty & the Beat).
Kim Lip, JinSoul and Choerry have been signed to the Modhaus label since March.
Two more Loona members have now joined: Heejin & Haseul. Haseul signed the contract with Modhaus just a few days ago. Modhaus founded the ARTMS Project for Loona and is planning further activities for the girl group. We are excited to see whether more members will join the label and return to the stage together!

On June 20th, the unit announced a European tour entitled VOLUME UP! As part of the tour, Kim Lip, Choerry and JinSoul will give four concerts in August:

09 August 2023: Warsaw, Poland
August 11, 2023: Paris, France
