NU'EST says goodbye with one final album.

After 10 years we have to say goodbye to the boy group NU'EST, whose members decided to go their own way. These 10 years have not always been easy, as the group was even close to disbanding in 2017, but the boys have still gifted their fans with new music to this day and created many good memories.

The boy group debuted on March 15, 2012 with the single "Face." Thus, NU'EST belongs to the 3rd generation of K-pop. Some would even still classify them as part of the Second, as the Third Generation started in 2012.

In 2017, NU'EST was on the verge of disbanding, as their previous releases were not particularly successful. In a last attempt to gain attention once again, four of the five members - JR, Baekho, Minhyun, and Ren - competed in the second season of the survival show Produce 101. While still participating in the show, their most recently released albums rose in the charts. All four of them made it to the top 20 and into the finals. Minhyun even reached 9th place, winning a spot in the eleven-member project group Wanna One!

The other 4 including Aron, who did not participate, formed the subunit NU'EST W and released 3 albums, all of which reached #1 on the Korean charts. Since Wanna One disbanded in 2019, NU'EST released six more albums with five members, the last being "Romanticize" in April 2021. After that, no new album was released for almost a year and a few days ago, Pledis Entertainment announced that the members' exclusive contract had expired. Baekho and Minhyun have renewed their contract, while Aron, JR and Ren have decided to leave the agency. All five have confirmed in handwritten letters that NU'EST will be disbanding.

As a parting gift, the boy group will release one last album, which will be out on March 15, exactly 10 years after their debut.

The Best Album ‘Needle & Bubble’

As the title suggests, "Needle & Bubble" will be a compilation album that will contain the biggest hits of the boy group. We don't know yet if there will be a new song as well, but we don't give up hope! According to Twitter, the tracklist will be released on March 11!

What we know for sure, however, is that the album will contain many extras. The choice is not difficult, because there is only one version. It includes the CD, a 100-page photo book, an 8-page lyric booklet, one of 5 postcards, 2 of 12 photo cards and one of 5 message bookmarks.
