Five months after their last album “Entwurf”, Nmixx are coming back with a new album called “Expérgo”! It is special in more ways than one: for one thing, it is the girl group’s first mini album, but above all, it is the first one with six members.
On December 9, JYP Entertainment announced that Jinni has left the group for personal reasons and that her contract with the label has also been terminated. We still can’t really get used to the idea that Jinni is no longer there, but we are excited to see what Nmixx will show us next!
1st Mini Album Expérgo
The album will be released on March 21 and will be shipped from Germany around the beginning/middle of April. We will briefly introduce the three versions you can choose from!
Let’s first take a look at the two Standard Versions - A & B. Both contain two photobooks, a CD with a sleeve, a dot-to-dot postcard and a lyric card set. Finally, every buyer will find one of six possible photocards in their album.
Although the contents are the same in both versions, they are very different from each other. Everything - from the photobooks to the postcard to the photocards - is designed individually. Perfect for those who like to collect all the versions, because here you are guaranteed not to get anything twice!
If you pre-order the album, you will optionally get a poster as well.
But of course there are more versions that you shouldn’t miss:
Then there is the Limited Version. It starts off exciting, because even the box is a surprise. There are six different boxes, and which one you get is random!
Of course, the content is no less interesting. The box contains an 84-page photobook, a CD, a sticker pack, one of three possible bookmarks, one of six character cards, one of six photocards and one of six story photo frames. So the Limited Version has quite a lot to offer!
You will also optionally get a poster if you order the version before March 21.
Finally, there is the Digipack Version. If you love the suspense of flipping over a photocard to find out which member is on it, you are in the right place! Because here, all the contents are random!

Nmixx are approaching their first anniversary!
Even before Expérgo is released, Nmixx can celebrate the first year of their career! Because on February 22, 2022, the girl group presented their first single album “Ad Mare”.
It topped the weekly Gaon Album Chart, and the title track O.O not only placed on Billboard’s K-Pop Hot 100, but also on Billboard’s Japan Hot 100 and Billboard’s Vietnam Hot 100. It also made the charts in many other countries such as Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.
The second single album “Entwurf” also topped Gaon’s Weekly Album Chart. However, there is actually one big milestone that Nmixx are still missing. So far, the girl group has not won a music show trophy yet. We are keeping our fingers crossed that it will happen soon!
On December 22, Nmixx also released the Christmas song “Funky Glitter Christmas”, the last song with Jinni. To this day, nobody knows exactly why Jinni left the group so suddenly.
For the first anniversary on February 22, 2023, Nmixx have announced a livestream on YouTube, among other things.
On the schedule, which also includes the livestream, we can also read that a video is due to be released on March 1. It is marked with two question marks, which is why we are especially curious about it! What do you think the video could be about?
