New album, new beginning: Taemin presents “ETERNAL”!

Taemin hat seit seinem Solo Debüt schon mehr als 10 Alben veröffentlicht, sowohl in Korea als auch in Japan. Trotzdem ist das neue Album etwas besonderes, denn es ist das erste, seitdem Taemin SM Entertainment verlassen hat. Das fünfte Mini Album “ETERNAL” erscheint am 20. August, fast ein Jahr nach dem predecessor “Guilty”.

Taemin signed a contract with BPM Entertainment in April for his solo career. However, he continues to work with SM Entertainment for his activities with SHINee. BPM immediately released a new logo for Taemin and launched new social media channels. The first teasers for Taemin's comeback with ETERNAL appeared there yesterday. Since a few hours there are also details about the different versions!

TAEMIN HAS ANNOUNCED FOUR DIFFERENT VERSIONS:

The two standard versions are called “Emotion” and “Motion”.

Both consist of an 80-page photo book which contains a number of extras. The larger extras include an eight-page brochure, a fold-out poster and the CD. In addition, you get 2 of 6 possible photo cards, one of 3 postcards, a 5-piece film set and a message paper.

There is a photo book in almost every K-Pop album, but this book is something special. At least the cover is. There is a mysterious note on the product image: “Check the cover of the photo book in the dark.” We can't wait to see what the darkness will reveal!

You can also order both versions with a Soundwave selfie photo card. Es gibt zwei verschiedene Motive, die aktuell noch unbekannt sind. Welches du bekommst, ist Zufall. Die Soundwave Variante erscheint am 26. August.

In the box version you will find a variety of extras:

A lenticular card, one of 4 possible photo cards with cover, an accordion book, a CD with holder and a photo book with 48 pages. All of this is neatly stowed away in a rectangular box, which is also protected by a cover.

The movie version also has a lot to offer:

There is the photo book, for example. It has 120 pages and is therefore thicker than the books from the other two versions. There is also a digipack, a CD, a fabric poster and two stickers. The highlight is probably the Polaroids. Each buyer receives 2 of 6 possible motifs.

Nicht nur seine Fans, sondern auch andere Idols sehen ihn als Vorbild und bewundern seine Tanzkünste. Taemin’s Alben toppen regelmäßig die Charts und seine Songs entwickeln sich nicht selten zu viralen Hits. So wurde zum Beispiel sein Song “Move” aus 2017 so oft von Fans und anderen Künstlern gecovert, dass die Bewegung “Move disease" genannt wurde.

His last single “Guilty” also attracted attention with its unusual choreography. ETERNAL will undoubtedly also cause a stir in the K-pop scene!
