SM Entertainment announced a few hours ago that NCT’s Taeil was injured in an accident and needs to undergo surgery. As a result, the singer will take a temporary break and withdraw from his upcoming activities. Find out more here:
According to SM, Taeil was on his way home on his motorcycle after finishing his daily schedule when the accident happened. He immediately sought medical help and underwent a thorough examination, which revealed a fracture in his right thigh. To treat his injury, Taeil was advised to have surgery.
SM assured right afterwards that Taeil is in stable condition and is preparing for the surgery. The label also emphasized that his health is the top priority and promised to fully support his recovery.
Of course, Taeil will rest over the next few weeks. That means he has to cancel a few of his appointments. Unfortunately, this also includes NCT's highly anticipated first-ever offline concert as a full group, "NCT NATION: To The World", which is planned for August 26.
