Oh My Girl will finally release a new album after 15 months!
On March 28, 2022 Oh My Girl released the studio album Real Love, which sold almost 100 thousand copies within a month. The title song of the same name secured the girl group the victory in the music show THE SHOW. This means that Oh My Girl has now won 20 music show trophies!
Of course, fans wanted more, but unfortunately, more than a year has passed without a new album. In addition, Jiho left the group in May 2022. However, 15 months after Real Love, a new album is finally on the way: GOLDEN HOURGLASS will be released on July 25!
It's the first Oh My Girl album with six members, so it's sure to be unfamiliar. But we're sure that the singers have put even more effort than usual in order to thrill us once again! You can already pre-order the result of their efforts from our store!
There are four different versions to choose from: Two standard versions, one kit version and one Poca album.
The two standard versions are called Wave and Light.
The names match the first teaser posters, which show sand, waves and an hourglass sparkling in the sun. Oh My Girl will probably present us with a summer hit!
Both versions consist of an 80-page photo book that includes a CD, sticker, bookmark and many, many random extras: Two of 12 possible photocards, one of six tickets, one of six Stone cards and one of six Message cards.
If you pre-order the album, you get an optional poster as well!
Do you like collecting digital albums? Then you'll be happy to know that Oh My Girl is offering two different digital versions!
When you purchase the Poca album, you can look forward to two of 5 possible photo cards, two stickers, and exclusive digital content. To access the digital content, you need the so-called QR Card Album. This is a photo card with a QR code on the back. Every buyer gets one of four possible QR cards. In addition there is an instruction.
As with all Poca albums, you can convert the packaging into a photo card holder.
GOLDEN HOURGLASS is the first album of which Oh My Girl provides a Poca version as well! So it's a little highlight for every Oh My Girl collection!

As mentioned earlier, Oh My Girl has already uploaded summer teaser posters for the new album. One of them is a schedulethat reveals which teasers we can expect in the coming weeks:
Starting tomorrow (July 5) is a concept film. This will of course be followed by concept photos, the tracklist and many more teasers like a highlight medley among others!
Oh My Girl debuted in 2015 with eight members and can look back on some eventful years:
Jiho is already the second member to leave the group. In 2017 JinE bid farewell to the others. But Oh My Girl doesn't buckle and continues to release catchy hits like 5th Season, Nonstop, and Dun Dun Dance on a regular basis to this day!
The six members are Hyojung, Mimi, YooA, Seunghee, Yubin and Arin. Some of them sing soundtracks for K-dramas. YooA has also released two solo albums, most recently Selfish in November 2022.
