Hello, MONBEBE! We have sad news from Monsta X Kihyun. Today Kihyun at the official fan cafe of MONSTA X personally announced his upcoming military service in a handwritten letter. So we have to say goodbye for a while.

Kihyun will begin his military service on August 22nd.

For those who may be new to the MONSTA X fandom, let's take a moment to learn more about Kihyun:

Kihyun, whose real name is Yoo Ki-hyun, is a South Korean singer and member of the popular K-pop boy group MONSTA X. Born on November 22, 1993 in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, Kihyun began his musical career as a trainee at Starship Entertainment.

Before making his debut, Kihyun showcased his exceptional voice in the survival show "No Mercy." His outstanding performances and his unmistakable voice quickly captivated the audience and made him a valuable addition to the group. He is known not only for his remarkable singing skills, but also for his charismatic stage presence and endearing personality.

In addition to his work as a member of Monsta X, the singer also made his solo debut with the single album "Voyager" on March 15, 2022.

Seven months later he celebrated his first solo comeback with the mini album "Youth".
