(G)I-dle has just finished promoting their new album "I Never Die" and the title track "Tomboy", which took over all the charts. Fans barely had time to catch their breath, because today Miyeon announced her solo debut!
Apart from her group, the singer has mainly released collaborations with other artists and worked as an actress. Most recently, for example, she could be seen in the web drama “Adult Trainee”. Now she's taking a new step!
Yesterday, the first image teaser for Miyeon's solo album was uploaded to (G)I-dle's social media accounts. It shows the steering wheel of a vintage car and, besides the release date - April 27 - also revealed the title:
MY
Today the album preview followed, telling us exactly what we can look forward to:
Buyers get a turquoise box. Whoever opens it is greeted by an elegant white and turquoise floral pattern on the inside of the lid. Next, we turn our attention to the contents:
The 84-page photo book, the lyric paper and the CD in a separate sleeve are only the beginning. In addition, the box contains 2 out of 10 photocards, 1 out of 5 bookmarks, a sticker and 1 out of 5 mini posters. As always, it's random which designs you get for each of the extras, but the nice thing about a solo album is that you definitely get the right one. In this case: Miyeon!
If you can't get enough of the popular extras, you should definitely pre-order the album! Only if you order it before April 27 will you additionally get a lenticular card and optionally a poster with one of 5 possible designs!
So Miyeon will soon be joining Soyeon and Yuqi, who both released their first solo albums in 2021. Are you as excited about it as we are?
