A week and a half ago, we reported that five members of WJSN had left the girl group. Today, however, we found out that this isn't true. In reality, only three members have left.
Starship Entertainment announced at the beginning of the month that eight members of WJSN had renewed their contracts with the agency, while Luda and Dawon decided against it. In the statement, the label also said that they will cheer on and support Luda and Dawon on their new paths. This led to the assumption that, like the three Chinese members, they had left not only Starship but also WJSN.
But even though Luda and Dawon's contracts with Starship have expired, Starship Entertainment clarified today that they are still part of WJSN.
That's great news! So in the future, WJSN will continue to be active as ten members, not as eight as feared.
