It has been over two and a half years since we last heard new music from Lucas. Almost a year after his official departure from NCT and WayV, the singer is now making his solo debut with the single album “Renegade”!
After months of speculation and silence, the time has finally come: Lucas returns to the spotlight with his first single "Renegade". The album will be released on April 1 and contains three English songs. Starting today, you can pre-order the PHOTOBOOK version and the DIGIPACK version in our shop.
There are no details about the content yet, but it surely won't be long until we find out more. On Twitter and Instagram, Lucas has at least already uploaded a teaser poster. We don't see much of his face, as it is mostly shrouded in shadow.

The album is a significant milestone for the talented artist, as it marks his return to the music scene after a three-year break.
Lucas, who is known for his charismatic stage presence and impressive vocal skills, debuted in 2018 as a member of the successful boy group NCT. Over the course of his career, he was also a permanent member of the NCT unit WayV and the project group SuperM. However, his path was not without challenges.
In August 2021, Lucas was confronted with accusations from his ex-girlfriend, who accused him of treating her badly. These accusations led Lucas to pause his activities as an idol in August 2021. He apologized to his fans for his behavior, and since then it has been quiet around him for a long time. In May 2023, SM Entertainment finally announced that Lucas had officially left NCT and WayV.
Despite the controversy, Lucas remained steadfast and is now ready to celebrate his debut as a solo artist:
