Four months after their debut, Lightsum returns with a new single album!

On June 10, Lightsum debuted with their first single album “Vanilla”. The members of the eight-member girl group were not completely unknown to fans, as four of them had already appeared in survival shows three years ago. Juhyeon took part in “The Unit: Idol Rebooting Project” and finished in 25th place. Chowon, Nayoung and Yujeong showed their talent in “Produce 48” and ranked 13th, 21st and 51st among 96 contestants. Chowon in particular became a fan favorite during the show. When it was later revealed that the votes had been manipulated, it even turned out that Chowon should actually have placed sixth in the finale and would therefore have debuted as a member of IZ*ONE. Chowon and her fans who had voted for her were undoubtedly shocked by this news and disappointed about the missed opportunity. All the greater was probably the joy when Cube Entertainment announced the debut of Lightsum!
We are certainly not the only ones who can't get enough of “Vanilla” and are looking forward to Lightsum's comeback on October 13!
Light A Wish
On Twitter, Cube Entertainment has already published album details: There will be two versions - “Light” and “Wish” - between which fans can choose. Both contain a CD, a 90-page photo book, a lyric paper, an invitation card, one of eight photo cards and one of eight stickers. All contents differ depending on the version. Those who pre-order the album can also choose whether a poster should be included as well.
