Almost exactly three months after her debut, Lee Chaeyeon is giving her fan club a name! The lovable singer is best known for her time in IZ*ONE and released her first solo album “Hush Rush” on October 12.
After IZ*ONE disbanded in August 2021, fans waited for over a year for Chaeyeon to return to the stage. They didn't have to wait long to find out what the fan club will be called.
Since yesterday, fans can call themselves “CHAERISH”.

The name and its meaning were announced on Chaeyeon's official Instagram account: CHAERISH is a combination of “Chaeyeon” and the English word “Cherish”. (to value / to appreciate) The name means that the fans cherish Chaeyeon and that they are the people Chaeyeon cherishes most. It also stands for the hope that Chaeyeon and her fans will continue to cherish each other in the future and create beautiful memories together that they keep in their hearts.
Above the fandom name “CHAERISH”, the image also shows the sweet slogan: I CHAERISH YOU
Chaeyeon also replied to the post with her personal Instagram account: “I'm so happy right now. I'm still smiling even though I'm not doing anything. I love you Chaerish.”
The fact that Chaeyeon announced the name yesterday is no coincidence. January 11 is her birthday! To celebrate it, Chaeyeon uploaded a YouTube video yesterday, among other things, in which she cooks seaweed soup. This soup is a traditional birthday dish in South Korea. You can watch the video on YouTube:
We congratulate Chaeyeon on her birthday and her fandom name!
