JYP Entertainments latest girl group NMIXX has attracted no small amount of attention with their debut single album "Ad Mare" and title track "O.O". Now the group is finally following up: On September 19, the second single album "ENTWURF" will be released!
On Twitter, NMIXX released an album preview a few hours ago with details on the limited version:
You get a box that greets you with a pop-up when you open it! It contains a CD, an 80-page photo book, a lyric card, one of seven possible photo cards, two of 14 photo cards, and one of seven lenticular cards.
If you pre-order "ENTWURF", you will get an optional poster as well! With a lot of luck you will also find a signed Polaroid in your album. But the Polaroids are extremely limited and only included in 100 First Press copies.
We as a German K-Pop Shop are especially excited about the album; after all, the title "ENTWURF" is a German word! ("Entwurf" translates to "draft")
Although K-pop stars mainly use English in addition to Korean, it's not too uncommon for them to choose other languages for their album titles or songs, but German is something we've seen very rarely.
One of those rare examples would be Monsta X's song "Autobahn" from their 2021 album "No Limit." Can you think of any other examples? Feel free to tell us about them in the comments!
Even the title of NMIXX debut album "Ad Mare" was neither English nor Korean. "Ad Mare" is Latin and means "to the sea / towards the sea". I wonder what the future albums will be called?
It's been six months since NMIXX's debut, so it's high time for the girl group to make their first comeback and prove their talent once again! In the meantime, the six members have released a four-part soundtrack to the animated show "Gabby's Dollhouse" together. They also recorded a cover of "Kiss" (a song by the now-defunct girl group "Rainbow") and shot a music video for it:
