In May, the 2nd Generation boy group Infinite caused a stir when leader Sung Kyu founded “Infinite Company” and a mysterious teaser appeared on YouTube. A countdown has also been running on the Twitter account for days and will end on June 9, Infinite's 13th anniversary.
Many fans are undoubtedly hoping for an Infinite comeback; it would be the first in four years. Today, however, Kim Sung Kyu surprisingly announced a solo album, so it seems the members will keep focusing on solo projects for now.
The new album is called “2023 S/S Collection” and will be released on June 29!

The album is available in three versions: S ver., K ver. and Platform ver. The S and K versions consist of an 80-page photo book containing a CD, one of two folded posters and a handful of smaller extras. The extras include one of two possible film camera photo prints, a door hanger and one of three photocards.
If you buy the set with both versions, you are guaranteed not to get anything twice, because all contents are designed differently depending on the version!
Those who pre-order the album will receive an exclusive bonus of one of two possible posters!

Fans who choose the Platform version of the album can look forward to one of two mini cards, one of two selfie photocards, a six-piece postcard set and digital content! To access the digital content, you need the QR code found on the back of the mini card.
Besides the album details, Sung Kyu has also already revealed the tracklist on Twitter:

Seven tracks await us, including the title song “Small Talk”. According to the schedule that was uploaded at the end of last week, we can look forward to many more teasers: two concept films, six concept photos, two music video teasers and a highlight medley. So it won't get boring!
Kim Sung Kyu already started his solo career in 2012, just two years after debuting as a member of Infinite.
His very first mini album “Another Me” already topped the Gaon (now Circle) charts. By now, Sung Kyu can look back on four mini albums, one studio album and two single albums, almost all of which placed in the top 10 of the charts! Most recently, his fourth mini album “Savior” with the title song of the same name was released in April 2022.
In addition to his solo albums, Sung Kyu expanded his artistic repertoire by taking part in various projects. This year, for example, he was seen as a mentor on the JTBC survival show "Peak Time" and as the lead in the musical "Red Book".
