Great news: Nayeon has announced her solo debut!
We know the cheerful singer mainly as the leader of Twice. Since their debut in October 2015, the JYP Entertainment girl group has set one record after another and captivated thousands of fans all over the world!
Just this past Sunday, Twice wrapped up their 4th world tour, which took them through Korea, Japan and the USA, with a final concert in Los Angeles. As we now know, Nayeon has also been working hard on her first mini album, because it comes out as early as June 24 and can already be pre-ordered at the end of the month!
Besides these dates, a teaser image was also uploaded on Twitter and Instagram, showing accessories, a pretty gold-trimmed teapot and cup, and pink fabrics on a white bedspread. It looks like we’ll soon be spending a relaxed morning with Nayeon and still have plans to go out. We’re already so curious what kind of music awaits us! A refreshing summer song, maybe? The teaser also reveals that the mini album will be called “Im Nayeon”. In the title, you’ll notice that the letters “EO” are written in italics and in a different font. They look almost like the number 0 and a mirrored 9. What do you think this means?
Nayeon has shown many times, with covers of songs like Ariana Grande’s “Santa Tell Me” or “Fallin” by Harry Styles, how beautiful her voice is. She is the first member of Twice to release her own album. We have no doubt that the talented singer will command the stage and wow us on her own, too!
How excited are you about Nayeon’s solo debut? We’ll get back to you soon with new details about the album!
