A week ago we told you about the legal dispute between SM Entertainment and EXO-CBX, which is still ongoing. Find out more here. For all the fans who look for news every day and worry about the future of the boy group, there is actually some good news now: EXO will soon film a reality show and is still working together on the comeback!
Last week SM Entertainment already emphasized that EXO is still working on the comeback, including Chen, Baekhyun and Xiumin. The filming of the music video was not postponed, even though EXO-CBX had already gone public with their complaints about SM Entertainment beforehand.
And that's not all: Yesterday SM Entertainment told the Korean news portal “Newsen” that EXO will film a reality show in Korea!
Later, Dispatch uploaded footage from Gimpo Airport showing all the EXO members together (except Lay). So it seems that EXO-CBX will also be part of the reality show.
In an official statement, Chen, Baekhyun and Xiumin explained that EXO is their top priority:
“We value the EXO members more than anything else. We have shared joy and sorrow with our members for half of our lives. We would never betray them and will put EXO first in every situation.” - EXO-CBX Statement
So we can still look forward to the comeback and hopefully many more activities from the boy group.
Even if the three of them were to leave SM Entertainment, that doesn't mean they will also leave EXO. Groups like 2PM, GOT7 and more have proven that they can be active together even when the members are signed to different agencies.
