August is almost over, but even tomorrow, on the last day, new K-Pop albums and fan merchandise will still be released. These include “Gasoline”, the new solo album from SHINee’s Key or the second Anniversary Magazine from YG’s boy group Treasure! And what does September look like?

Of course, this month will also bring a series of new albums and other K-Pop items, some of which were announced weeks ago!
The line-up is already packed: big names like BTS, Blackpink and Ateez are part of it, but also younger groups like Billlie or Classy.
BTS, for example, are releasing the Memories of 2021 Blu-ray on September 28, Blackpink are celebrating their long-awaited comeback with “Born Pink” on September 16 and ATEEZ fans can look forward to a summery photobook on September 30. Of course, we have introduced all of these in an article of their own and we have already taken a closer look together at the first photobook from Classy and the new album “the Billage of perception: chapter two” by Billlie.
Now we are introducing you to a few of the September releases that we haven’t talked about yet!
KIM JAE HWAN: Empty Dream (Limited Edition)
Kim Jae Hwan is probably best known to most people as a former member of the popular project group Wanna One, which was active from 2017 to 2019. But the talented singer already started a solo career in May 2019 and is releasing his fifth album “Empty Dream” on September 6:
Besides the CD and the 72-page photobook, the album comes with lots of extras. Buyers get a four-piece postcard set, a four-piece photocard set, a coloring paper, a bookmark, a sticker and, for pre-orders, even a folded poster! If you want to secure the poster, you should hurry, because the album is coming out in just one week!
STAYC: 1st Photobook STAY IN CHICAGO
STAYC debuted in 2020 with the very successful single album “Star to a Young Culture” including the title song “So Bad”. In the meantime, the young girl group has released a total of five albums and on September 15 they are presenting their first photobook!
You can expect a photobook with no fewer than 200 pages, a DVD with 30 minutes of video material, a six-piece postcard set and a six-piece photocard set. Everything is neatly stored together in a beautiful pink box. The photobook is undoubtedly a valuable collector’s item for every STAYC fan. Will you get it?
JYP GREEN PROJECT
In September, most of the girl and boy groups from JYP Entertainment are releasing a box of fan items under the title “Green Project”.
The boxes are made of wood and each contain a keychain, a two-piece sticker set and a photocard set! The photocard sets contain one photocard per member, so the number differs depending on the band. The photocard set in the Stray Kids box, for example, contains eight photocards and the one in the ITZY box consists of five cards. There are five Green Project boxes in total:
There are two versions of each box. (“A” & “B”) The contents are the same, but designed differently. For example, the extras in the A version of Twice are predominantly pink and those in the B version are blue-green.
Most of the boxes are released on September 5, only the one from NMIXX is coming out as early as August 31. Unfortunately, the ones from Stray Kids and Xdinary Heroes are already sold out, so you should hurry if you want to secure one of the others!
Of course, the products we have introduced to you here are by no means the only ones coming out in September. Many other artists like TXT or NCT 127 are also already in the starting blocks.
