The K-pop industry never stands still, and so today there is exciting news again, both about the upcoming debut of a boy group and about the start of a new variety show.
A boy group produced by Zico is about to take the stage!
Zico is a well-known producer and rapper and has produced many successful hits in the past, both for his own career and for other K-pop artists. His reputation as a creative genius and his experience in the K-pop industry raise the anticipation for his newest project.
Already at the 2022 HYBE Briefing with the Community Zico talked about the boy group that will debut soon, and today the Korean news platform SPOTV News reported that we can expect the group as early as May.

The group is managed by KOZ Entertainment. This is a label that Zico founded in January 2019. Until now, apart from Zico, the label only had the singer-songwriter Dvwn under contract. In November 2020, HYBE took over the label, so it has been part of HYBE Corporation ever since. Other labels under HYBE include, for example, Pledis (Seventeen & fromis_9), Big Hit Music (BTS & TXT) or Source Music (Le sserafim).
After Le sserafim and New Jeans from HYBE won the hearts of fans worldwide in no time last year, the expectations for the new boy group are of course high.
Zico has already proven his talent as a producer in the past by leading his group Block B to success. The exact details about the group's name, concept and musical style are still unclear for now, but we trust that Zico’s boy group will bring a breath of fresh air to the K-pop scene!

The stars include EXO’s D.O., Crush, Yang Se-chan, Choi Jung-hoon and Lee Yong-jin.
