The first concerts of Twice 5th World Tour are set!

Die ersten Konzerte von Twice 5. World Tour stehen fest!

2023 isn't even two months old yet and it already promises to be a great year for K-Pop fans all around the world. Especially for those who love going to concerts!

That goes for European fans too, because in the last few weeks alone, a few stars like the band The Rose or the solo singer Kang Daniel have already performed in Germany, France and other countries.

Right now, the boy group Ateez is also on tour and still has concerts ahead of them in Madrid, Copenhagen and Paris. Last week, NCT Dream also announced a tour, which will bring the boys to Europe in March, among other places!

Now another K-Pop star has revealed the first dates of a new tour: the girl group Twice!

TWICE 5TH WORLD TOUR “READY TO BE”

On Twice's official Twitter account, the first part of the 5th World Tour was revealed today. It's called “READY TO BE”, just like the new album, which will be released on March 10. It will contain six brand-new songs, including the English pre-release single “Moonlight Sunrise” and the title track “Set Me Free”. There will also be an English version of the title track. Soon, hundreds of fans will be able to hear some of the new songs live!

Twice 5th World Tour READY TO BE Part 1

The tour starts on April 15 in Seoul.

In May, the singers will visit two cities in Australia and two in Japan. North American fans in particular have reason to be happy, because nine concerts will take place there in nine different cities in June and July.

More shows will be announced soon!

We're keeping our fingers crossed that the girl group will come to Europe as part of the tour, too. Unfortunately, Twice hasn't been to the continent yet, so it's about time, isn't it? Since more and more artists are including Europe in their tours, we dare to hope that this year it will finally happen.

Twice's last World Tour ended on May 15, 2022 in Los Angeles.

It had started on December 25, 2021, about a month and a half after the release of the studio album Formula of Love: O+T=<3.

The tour included 14 concerts in South Korea, Japan and the United States. One concert had to be canceled because of new Covid-19 rules. With the tour, Twice became only the second Korean act ever to sell more than 100,000 tickets in the United States! Before them, only BTS had reached this milestone.

So the new tour starts almost exactly one year after the previous one ended. And it already includes more concerts, even though only a few of the dates have been revealed. How many more concerts do you think will be added? Do you also hope that the girl group will come to Europe, or do you think they'll stay in America and Asia like before?
