DICON presents BTS and Twice photo books for the 10th anniversary!

A magazine filled with large format photos of your favorite band is a valuable addition to the collection of any K-Pop fan. And now imagine that the entire cover is a wiggle picture!

DICON is a magazine published by Dispatch, an online media company that regularly covers news in the Korean entertainment industry. Dispatch is especially known for dating rumors of Korean celebrities such as actors and singers.

Since 2020, Dispatch has published its DICON (or "D`icon") magazine. Each issue revolves around a famous idol group. Unlike traditional magazines, which usually feature more than one artist - even if one takes the spotlight and claims the cover - DICON issues are 100% content from one artist.

To celebrate Dispatch's 10th anniversary, two exclusive photo books will be released under the title "DFESTA." For this, the company has brought on board two global superstars: BTS and Twice! Take a deep breath, because the DICON Photobooks have a lot to offer:

BTS DICON Photobook

Fans have seven different versions to choose from, each dedicated to one of the members. The cover is filled with a black and white photo of the respective member and the back cover shows the whole band. But that's not all. The entire 265 x 380 mm cover image is a wiggle!

The cover alone makes this issue a unique collectible that deserves to be displayed on your shelf. And the best part? You get to pick which version you want, so you'll definitely get the cover from your bias!

But of course, it doesn't stop there. The hardcover magazine has no less than 200 pages! Buyers will also receive an 88-page deco book, 4 sheets of deco stickers, and a 5-piece photo card set. Judging from the preview images, each set consists of a group card and four photo cards of one member. Whether for example the Jungkook version with the Jungkook cover automatically includes the Jungkook photo card set is not entirely clear, but we strongly assume that it does.

This project is probably the best proof that we don't have to give up 100% on BTS as a group despite the solo activities of the members.

Twice DICON Photobook

The Twice edition is very similar to the one of BTS. Buyers get a hardcover magazine with wiggle picture cover of a member of choice, a deco book, deco stickers and a 5-piece photo card set including a group card. Of course, the motifs and design differ. After all, this issue is all about Twice! Other than that, the only difference is that the deco book has 90 pages instead of 88 like BTS.

Buyers can choose between eight versions for this edition: Nayeon, Jihyo, Momo, Sana, Chaeyoung, Mina, Tzuyu, or Dahyun.

Jeongyeon is not included. She just returned in October from her second hiatus due to anxiety disorder and is taking it slow. Presumably, the DICON photo book was one of the activities she skipped in order to focus on Twice fourth world tour instead, which just ended in May.


The photo books will be released at the end of September.
