DICON präsentiert BTS und Twice Fotobücher zum 10. Jubiläum!

A magazine filled with large photos of your favorite band is a valuable addition to the collection of every K-Pop fan. And now imagine that the entire cover is a lenticular image!

Starting today, you can pre-order the new DICON editions of Twice and BTS!

DICON is a magazine from Dispatch, an online media company that regularly reports on news from the Korean entertainment industry. Dispatch is especially known for dating rumors about Korean celebrities such as actors and singers.

Since 2020, Dispatch has been publishing the DICON (or “D`icon”) magazine. Each issue revolves around a famous idol group. Unlike conventional magazines, which usually present more than one artist - even if one is in the spotlight and claims the cover - DICON issues consist of 100% content about the respective artist.

To mark Dispatch's 10th anniversary, two exclusive photobooks are being released under the title “DFESTA”. For this, the company has brought two global superstars on board: BTS and Twice! Take a deep breath, because the DICON issues have a lot to offer:

BTS DICON Photobook

Fans can choose from seven different versions, each dedicated to one of the members. The cover is filled with a black-and-white photo of the respective member and the back cover shows the whole band. But that's not all. The entire 265 x 380 mm cover image is a lenticular image!

The cover alone makes the issue a unique collector's item that deserves to be displayed on your shelf. And the best part? You can choose which version you want, so you are sure to get the cover of your bias!

But of course it doesn't stop there. The hardcover magazine has no fewer than 200 pages! Buyers also receive an 88-page deco book, 4 sheets of deco stickers and a 5-piece photocard set. Judging by the preview images, each set consists of one group card and four photocards of one member. Whether, for example, the Jungkook version with the Jungkook cover automatically comes with the Jungkook photocard set is not entirely clear, but we strongly assume so.

Of course, you can find all versions here in our shop!

This project is probably the best proof that, despite the members' solo activities, we don't have to give up on BTS as a group completely.

Twice DICON Photobook

The Twice issue is very similar to the BTS one. Buyers get a hardcover magazine with a lenticular cover of a member of their choice, a deco book, deco stickers and a 5-piece photocard set including a group card. Of course, the designs and the layout are different. After all, this issue is all about Twice! Apart from that, the only difference is that the deco book has 90 pages instead of 88 like the BTS one.

Buyers can choose between eight versions for this issue: Nayeon, Jihyo, Momo, Sana, Chaeyoung, Mina, Tzuyu or Dahyun.

Jeongyeon is not included. She only returned in October from her second break, which she took because of anxiety disorders, and is taking it slowly. The DICON photobook was probably one of the activities she skipped in order to focus on Twice's fourth world tour instead, which only ended in May.

The photobooks will be released at the end of September. Which version will you get?
