On December 28, new limited editions of two old Day6 albums are being released: Sunrise and Moonrise. Both albums were originally released in 2017 and are now making a comeback!
The new Limited Editions are just right for nostalgia lovers, because they are cassettes! Buyers will soon be able to enjoy the music in a different way.
Besides the case and the cassette itself, the albums also include small booklets. Both albums come in two versions, which apparently only differ in color: Sunrise comes in green and orange, Moonrise in blue and purple. Which color fits best in your collection?
Fans of the boy group will surely notice that five members can be seen on the cover of the cassettes! Day6 has officially been a four-piece since Jae’s contract with JYP Entertainment was terminated in December 2021. It is nice to see that the album shows five members, then as now.
It has been a while since we last heard from Day6, after all, three of the four members are still in the military. The last album as a group, “The Book of Us: Negentropy”, was released over a year ago, on April 19, 2021.
Unfortunately, fans couldn't look forward to performances or other promotions, because Sungjin began his military service shortly before the release. Sungjin was discharged in September of this year, making him the first Day6 member to finish his service!
Since the others began their military service later - Young K in October 2021, Dowoon in January 2022 and Wonpil in March 2022 - fans will unfortunately have to wait until the end of 2023 for the band to be reunited.
