Chained to a chair, surrounded by bananas, or with glasses on their nose and an hourglass in hand. That's how varied the members of Seventeen look in their new magazine “GOING Vol.2”.
The record-breaking boy group released concept photos for their Japanese album “ALWAYS YOURS” just yesterday, which comes out at the end of August / beginning of September. And it's only been three months since the guys presented their tenth mini album FML. So fans certainly didn't expect the guys to drop something else before that. But Seventeen doesn't take a break and, as of today, is also promoting the new GOING magazine, which comes out on August 14, even before the Japanese album!
In 2021, the popular boy group already released a magazine of their own called “GOING”, with the subtitle “WELCOME TO SEVENTEEN”. The new magazine is called “GOING Vol.2” and has the same subtitle. So it's a continuation.
What can you expect?
No fewer than 146 pages filled with colorful and varied photos of Seventeen.
We've already gotten a little glimpse on Twitter. Since last night, you can find six image teasers there. They show DK, WOOZI, JOSHUA, SEUNGKWAN, WONWOO and THE8. The rest will surely follow soon.
The magazine measures 230 x 300 millimeters, and both the front and the back are adorned with a photo of Seventeen. While the preview and the teasers on Twitter mainly show intense colors, the cover is rather light and soft. It seems there's something for every taste!
And as if that weren't good enough already, every buyer also gets a photocard set:
There are two different sets; which one you get is random. Each set contains 13 cards, one of each member of Seventeen.
In the preview, we can see that one set is very light, just like the cover: the guys are wearing white shirts and making hearts with their hands. The other set, on the other hand, is very colorful. The members wear very different outfits and hold props like a magnifying glass or a banana in their hands. We're keeping our fingers crossed that you get the set you wish for!
Vol.2 is actually very similar to the first GOING magazine:
The predecessor is just as big and also comes with one of two photocard sets. At 128 pages, however, it's a bit thinner. Do you have the magazine in your collection? Or will Vol.2 be your first GOING magazine?

The 13-member boy group Seventeen has broken quite a few records over the past months and years and is now one of the most successful K-Pop groups of all time! Their latest album “FML” is currently the best-selling K-Pop album in history and has even surpassed BTS! So the hard work has paid off. But it doesn't look like the boy group is going to rest on its success now. On the contrary: the guys keep working without a break to keep supplying their fans with new content.
