Cha Eunwoo has many talents: He can sing and act, and he's extremely good-looking on top of that! In 2016, Eunwoo debuted as a member of the boy group Astro, and his appearances in various K-dramas have drawn even more attention to him.
Eight years after his debut, Eunwoo is now taking a new step and going solo. His first mini album ENTITY will be released on February 15!
You can surely hardly wait to learn more about the album, right? Then listen up:
As of today, you can pre-order two different versions: EACH and EQUAL. At first glance they look very similar, but you'll see that there are a few small differences too.
Both versions consist of a photobook set with a matching case. Inside you'll of course find the CD, but also a few cool extras: A folded poster, an accordion lyric paper, a DIY ENTITY, stickers and one of two possible photocard sets. Each set contains 3 cards for your collection!
How the two sets look differs depending on the version. In fact, all the other contents are also designed differently every time. So it's worth getting the set from both versions, because you're guaranteed not to get anything twice!
The biggest differences are still to come:
The photobook set in the EACH version contains 3 photobooks. The EQUAL version, on the other hand, contains only two photobooks. In return, the EQUAL version also comes with a five-piece mini poster set. What are you looking forward to the most?
On YouTube there are already three short concept films that give us an impression of the new album.
Several teaser images have also appeared on Twitter. They show Eunwoo serious and almost sad, or with a gentle smile. Keep your eyes open so you don't miss any teaser!
About Cha Eunwoo:
There is probably hardly a K-pop fan who hasn't heard of Eunwoo before, but we'll briefly sum up his career for you anyway.
Eunwoo made his acting debut back in 2014, before Astro even took the stage. At the time, he played a small role in the film “My Brilliant Life”. Even after his debut in Astro, he kept appearing in supporting roles in K-dramas.
His breakthrough, however, only came with his first leading role in 2018. In the comedy “Gangnam Beauty”, he played a student who doesn't care about appearances and has a warm heart, even though he seems cold and uninterested at first glance. In the following years, he solidified his position as an actor with further leading roles in “Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung”, “True Beauty” and “A Good Day To Be a Dog”.
For his achievements, Eunwoo has been honored with more than 20 awards! Most recently, he won the award for “Best Male Idol Actor” at the Korea First Brand Awards.
Astro has also continuously celebrated successes over the years. The boy group reached number 4 on the Circle Charts with their debut album “Spring Up” and has always stayed in the top 5 since then. In recent years, Astro has also regularly taken number 1.
We're keeping our fingers crossed that Eunwoo's new career as a solo singer will be a complete success too!
