For months, fans and the media have been discussing again and again whether the members of BTS should complete the mandatory military service like all other men in South Korea, or whether they would get an exemption because of their role in spreading Korean culture around the globe. Now there is finally a final decision: BTS will go into the military!

Jin, who will celebrate his 30th birthday in December, will go first. Before he starts his service, however, the singer will release his first solo single album!
Big Hit stated in a statement that both the label and BTS are looking forward to coming back together in 2025.
So all seven members plan to complete their 18-month military service within the next three years. Since 2022 is already coming to an end, fans probably won't even have to wait three years for the boy group. This news is a relief for all those who feared they would have to wait much longer until BTS is complete again.
Of course, it still won't be easy to get by for so long without the boys, who have released one hit after another continuously in recent years and are no longer imaginable without the K-Pop scene. But that makes us all the more excited about the return of BTS, which will undoubtedly be spectacular!
