J-Hope has prepared a great surprise for us: A new solo album called “HOPE ON THE STREET”! Nobody saw that coming, since the rapper is currently serving in the military and is only supposed to be discharged in October. And that’s not all: The comeback will be accompanied by a documentary that is set to be released on March 29, just like the album.
The announcement comes just in time for J-Hope’s birthday, because he turned 30 yesterday! Belated happy birthday!
You can hardly wait to hear more details, right? We won’t keep you in suspense any longer and will take a look at the different versions with you:
The two standard versions are called “PRELUDE” and “INTERLUDE”.
Both come with an 80-page photobook, a poster, an 8-page lyric booklet, a CD, a sticker, a charm and two photocards. Everything is packed together in a transparent bag.
But even though the contents are so similar, the versions look very different. The PRELUDE version is all in black and red, while the INTERLUDE version is dominated by turquoise and white. Which one appeals to you more at first glance?
But maybe the Weverse Album version is the right one for you?
Here you get a 64-page photobook, a 16-page lyric book, a sticker, one of two postcards and a QR card with instructions. The photobook is about half the size of the books in the standard versions and is held together by a bright red book band.

As we already mentioned, a documentary is being released at the same time as the album. It is also called “HOPE ON THE STREET” and will air on Prime Video from March 29. There is already a poster for the documentary: It shows a poster wall covered with pictures of J-Hope. J-Hope himself is dancing on the street in front of it.
