Already on June 30th rumors came up that the K-Pop labels WAKEONE, Yuehua and Jellyfish Entertainment want to form a new project group with trainees from Boys Planet. Today, Jellyfish confirmed those rumors and announced the seven members! Is your favorite one of them?
The survival show "Boys Planet," which aired earlier this year, captivated K-Pop fans around the world. For weeks, they rooted for the trainees and voted for their favorites. In the end, the nine trainees with the most votes debuted in the project group "ZEROBASEONE", short "ZB1".
But although many fan favorites were among the winners, of course a lot of fans were also disappointed because one or more of their personal favorites didn't make it. So the joy was great when the Korean news portal "Joy News 24" reported at the end of June that a few of the eliminated contestants will debut in another group!
Since the group will be created by Yuehua and WAKEONE, it was obvious that their trainees will be part of the group: They are Park Han Bin, Lee Jeong Hyeon, Mun Jung Hyun and Park Ji Hoo from WAKEONE. Also, Yoo Seung Eon and Ji Yun Seo from Yuehua.
But Jellyfish Entertainment, which will manage the group, surprisingly announced today that it will consist of seven members. In addition to the six trainees just mentioned, Keita from RAINCOMPANY will also be part of it!
How do you like the group? Are you looking forward to their debut?
The project group is called "BLIT"!
"BLIT" is an abbreviation for "Boldly Leaping into Tomorrow". The name symbolizes the group's ambition and their goal to break the standards of the music industry. Will you be joining BLIT on their journey?
Keita, Park Han Bin, Yoo Seung Eon, and Lee Jeong Hyeon made it to the finals, and there are certainly more than a few fans who are happy to see them return. The other three were around for eight out of 12 episodes after all, they had to leave the show after the second elimination. During that time, they also caught some viewers' attention. Now they got another opportunity to show off their talent!
We are rooting for the seven trainees and can't wait to see them on stage again!
