Blackpink's Jennie has announced another new project!

Jennie Kim is known worldwide as a member of the extremely successful K-Pop girl group Blackpink, but now she also regularly makes headlines on her own. Just yesterday she surprisingly announced a new solo single and today it was confirmed that Jennie will be featured in an entertainment show in 2024. The singer is always taking on new challenges and we look forward to joining her!

Apartment 404

Blackpink, of course, has always been seen as a guest on entertainment shows, but rarely are they part of the permanent cast. But now fans can look forward to the new entertainment show "Apartment 404". Namely, the show confirmed that Jennie is part of the regular cast!

She will be joined by actor Lee Jung Ha (Nevertheless), actor and singer Cha Tae Hyun (Moving), and popular host and entertainer Yoo Jae Suk. Yoo Jae Suk, in particular, has been involved in many successful entertainment shows and is a real crowd favorite. So Jennie has experienced colleagues at her side.

It is not yet known what exactly the show will be about, except that it will be set in an apartment. It is scheduled to air in the first half of 2024, so unfortunately fans will have to be patient for a bit.

Luckily, the new solo single will be released tomorrow!

You surely noticed that Jennie released a poster for her new solo single "You & Me" on Twitter yesterday. Although the announcement came as a surprise, the song is already familiar to many fans. In fact, the singer has already performed the song on Blackpink's "BORN PINK" World Tour since late 2022!

"You & Me" is the second solo single from Jennie since her debut with "Solo" in 2018. "Solo" topped all charts, including Korea's Gaon Digital Chart or Billboard's World Digital Songs Chart. We're keeping our fingers crossed that Jennie can continue her previous success with the new song!

The single is already released tomorrow, but still Jennie uploaded another teaser on Twitter today. This time it is a collage of the singer.

Jennie is becoming more and more of an all-rounder: not only is she releasing solo music and performing as an entertainer, but she has also successfully starred in multiple series and movies.

As Jennie ventures new steps in her career, fans continue to wonder where she will be signed in the future.

Blackpink's future remains uncertain:

Several weeks ago, the previous contracts of the four Blackpink members with YG Entertainment expired. Since then, various rumors and speculations have been going around, including reports that Jisoo and Jennie have started their own agencies. However, YG Entertainment has only briefly commented on the matter so far. Again and again, the label emphasizes that there is no exact information yet and nothing has been decided.

Fans are eagerly waiting for news, after all, the contract negotiations will decide the future of the popular girl group. The most important question is: Will Blackpink continue to stay together? The members have all started solo careers in the meantime and proved that they are successful on their own.
