By now we are used to K-Pop artists releasing all kinds of versions of their albums, and for some time now vinyl records have not been anything new either. They are still hugely popular all over the world, because their sound quality cannot be compared to modern CDs and digital files.
If you collect vinyl records and like listening to BTS, you now have a reason to be happy: On December 8, a vinyl version of “Love Yourself: Her” will be released!
Vinyl records are also called the “Vinyl” or “LP” version.
Buyers do not only get the record, which is 12 inches (about 30 cm) in size, but also a lyrics foldout poster, a foldout poster, a sticker, a bookmark and a photocard set (7 pcs.)!
As you may know, “Love Yourself: Her” was released five years ago, on September 18, 2017. The tracklist consists of nine tracks including the title song “DNA”: Intro: Serendipity, DNA, Best of Me, Dimple, Pied Piper, Skit: Billboard Music Award Speech, MIC Drop, Go Go & Outro: Her.
Two more tracks were exclusive to the physical version: Skit: Hesitation and Fear & Sea. We are curious whether those two made it onto the vinyl record as well!
Have you ever listened to a vinyl record?
Even if not, it is never too late to start! Of course, not every K-Pop album has a vinyl version, but besides BTS, many other bands such as Blackpink or EXO have already released some, and surely many new ones will come out in the future as well.
