The legend returns!
It has been almost four years since Big Bang last released new music. The most recent release was the digital single “Flower Road” in March 2018, as a gift for the fans. Unfortunately, the band did not perform the song live, because almost all of them had begun their military service by then. In fact, the song was recorded before T.O.P enlisted in February 2017.
A lot has happened since then, even though the group was not active in the music industry. Seungri left the entertainment industry in 2019, and with it Big Bang. Since then, the band has officially been just four members. In November 2019, Taeyang and Daesung were the last to return from the military. A comeback was actually planned for 2020, but it was postponed because of Covid-19.
Now, two more years later, it is finally really happening.
YG Entertainment announced at the beginning of the week that Big Bang will release a new song in spring! The agency also announced that T.O.P has left YG, but fans do not need to worry. He will continue to be active as part of Big Bang.
Taeyang, T.O.P, Daesung and G-Dragon have already finished the song and will start filming the music video next.
We are ready for the new hit! And you?
