Fans of the boy group EXO are currently longing for the group's comeback in spring, which leader Suho has announced. After all, it is supposed to be the first album with all nine members in more than four years!
Yesterday, however, Kai surprised us with a different announcement: On March 13, he will release his third solo mini album “Rover”!
Shipping from Germany will take place towards the end of March.
Kai Mini Album Vol. 3 Rover
Like the previous two albums, Rover is also said to contain six songs. Are you already looking forward to adding them to your playlist?
There are two Photo Book versions and one Digipack version.
The Digipack contains a CD, a booklet, a photo card and a folded poster. Digipack albums are similar to the square plastic jewel case sleeves, except that they are made of paper.
If you would like to find out more about the different album versions that exist by now, you can keep reading here!
So far there are only very few details about the Photo Book versions, but we know that buyers get a booklet and a CD. Those who pre-order the album will optionally also get a poster.
So you don't miss anything, we recommend checking EXO's official Twitter account regularly. Yesterday, Kai announced his comeback there with a black-and-white teaser poster that resembles an optical illusion. More teasers are sure to follow soon!
Kai made his solo debut on November 30, 2020:
Back then, the talented dancer and singer presented his first mini album “KAI” including the title track “Mmmh”.
It reached number 3 on the Gaon Album Charts and also made it to number 11 on the Japanese Oricon Digital Charts and the Billboard World Album Charts.
Exactly one year later, on November 30, 2021, Kai's second mini album "Peaches" was released, which climbed even higher on the Gaon Album Charts, to number 2, one rank higher than “KAI”.
Will he surpass himself once again with “Rover”? We are definitely keeping our fingers crossed for him!
Kai is known not only as a solo singer and member of EXO, but also as part of the SM super boy group “SuperM”. Besides Kai, the members include his bandmate Baekhyun, as well as Taeyong and Mark of NCT 127, Ten and Lucas of WayV and Taemin of SHINee.
That's why we never have to wait long to hear something new from Kai! How much are you looking forward to the new solo album?
