It's official! Almost 16 years after their debut, the members of SHINee are heading in new directions: Two of them are staying with SM Entertainment, but the other two will now be represented by new agencies. But don't worry, SHINee will continue to be active as a foursome!
Here you can find all albums and merchandise from SHINee.

Back in March it was announced that the contracts of the SHINee members were ending and that some of them were in talks with new agencies. SM Entertainment responded to these rumors very quickly and stated that SHINee would remain active as a group as before, even if the members sign new contracts for their solo careers.
Taemin was the first to sign a new contract:

After more than 15 years at SM Entertainment, SHINee's maknae has decided to join Big Planet Made Entertainment (BPM). BPM made the official announcement on April 1. Besides Taemin, the agency also represents Ren (formerly of NU'EST), the girl group VIVIZ and Ha Sung Woon (formerly of Wanna One), among others. So in the future, Taemin will pursue his solo activities under BPM and will continue to work with SM Entertainment for activities with SHINee.
BPM has already launched new social media channels for Taemin and uploaded new profile photos there, as well as Taemin's brand-new logo!

The logo has been well received: Fans think it looks like a star, a symbol that SHINee often uses. So the logo may be another sign that Taemin will always remain a part of SHINee, no matter where he is right now.
On April 3, news followed about Onew:

The new agency GRIFFIN Entertainment announced that the singer has signed an exclusive contract. Onew is therefore GRIFFIN's first artist. The agency describes itself as a place where artists can unfold their unique talents. We hope that Onew can continue to advance his solo career there.
On his personal Instagram account, Onew posted new profile pictures the same day.
Today, Key and Minho have finally spoken up as well:

The two have renewed their contracts with SM Entertainment! The decision to continue working with SM Entertainment is based on a long-standing foundation of trust between the artists and the agency. Key and Minho thanked their fans for their support and promised to continue doing their best.
SM also made a statement. The agency wants to fully support the two singers in the future as well, not only as members of SHINee but also as solo artists.
We're excited to see what the future holds for Minho, Taemin and the others. One thing is certain: we can still expect a lot from them! For example, there are rumors that SHINee will return with a new album in the second half of 2024.
We're already looking forward to it!
About SHINee:
SHINee is a South Korean boy group founded by SM Entertainment in 2008. The group consists of five talented members: Onew, Key, Minho, Taemin and Jonghyun (†). They are known for their high-energy live performances and their impressive vocal abilities. SHINee has released numerous hits such as "Ring Ding Dong", "Sherlock" and "Lucifer". Despite the tragic loss of Jonghyun in 2017, the group has continued its activities and, even 15 years after their debut, remains one of the most influential boy groups in the K-pop industry.
